Organic mesclun salad and home made cheese

We were very honored to be chosen as the third restaurant to be provided with organic products from a small, select, local organic farm.   So select they choose who can have their products and they happily found and then included us.   Without naming names, this ranked us with the best in SMA.

We are beginning with the mesclun salad ... small mixed green and red leaves.  Grown from imported seeds and harvested when young.

Later there will be specific Italian veggies ... (seeds imported from Italy) ... and goat cheese ... and other fresh farm products.

Our salad dressing is home made from a secret recipe ... which allows us to keep it as natural as possible while minimizing the salt and keeping it vegan.

Later, when we are bigger, there will be an entire salad bar of these things.

You also may have heard we make some of our own cheese.  This took a while to perfect as much of what is sold in stores is not really milk.  Often the fine print will inform you that the natural butter fat has been replaced with some unidentified salad oil.

So, we located the cow and began from there.

We so appreciate all of you who have enjoyed this journey with us.  We are not nearly done yet.
